Want to learn Spanish in an immersive environment? What better place to take classes then steps from the beach in Costa Rica?

Spanish classes are taught at our flagship Tamarindo Spanish School The Coastal Spanish Institute, which shares a campus with CRSI.

Spanish classes start every Monday of the year. If you also are participating in surf school, we will schedule your Spanish classes around your surf lessons so there will never be a conflict. Classes are limited to a maximum of 6 students per teacher to ensure you get a personalized educational experience.

Our Deluxe Surfing + Spanish camp is designed for all levels of surfers and Spanish speakers and includes the following:

  • Shared student apartment
  • 7 surf lessons or guided tours per wk
  • 20 hours per wk Spanish courses
  • Weekly surf theory clinics
  • Unlimited surfboard use
  • Video analysis and photo session
  • Yoga or gym membership

The program consists of a variety of interesting and interactive exercises created to encourage you to practice the Spanish language in a real life setting. The foundation of the Spanish language classes consist of a combination of exercises, role playing, reading, conversation, and grammar.
